Background
Minxin River is a river flowing through the central part of Shijiazhuang City. The main water supplemental source of Minxin River is the drainage from a sewage treatment plant.
Due to the lacking of a good water recycling system, the eutrophication of the water became more and more polluted, especially in the lower reaches where the water is black and foul causing death of marine life.
